General Laborer / Insulation Installer

Job Overview

J&M Spray Foam Insulation is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our crew. This is a full-time, hands-on position involving spray foam insulation, other types of insulation, general labor, and construction-related work. No spray foam or insulation experience is required. We are willing to train the right person. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour, with higher starting pay available based on experience and qualifications. This is a good fit for someone who enjoys working with their hands, isn't afraid of hard work, and wants the opportunity to learn new skills and grow with the company.

Responsibilities

• Assist with spray foam insulation installation
• Install and assist with other types of insulation
• Prepare and clean up jobsites
• Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment
• Assist with general construction and labor projects as needed
• Clean and maintain equipment, trucks, and work areas
• Work safely in attics, crawl spaces, shops, and other construction environments
• Travel with the crew from our Fulton shop to jobsites throughout the area
• Perform other general labor duties as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required
• Reliable transportation to and from our shop in Fulton, Missouri is required
• Dependable and able to report to work on time
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and carrying materials and equipment
• Comfortable working in hot and cold conditions
• Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and at heights when necessary
• Able to follow directions and work well as part of a crew
• Construction, insulation, mechanical, equipment, or general labor experience is a plus, but not required

Work Location

Employees report to our shop in Fulton, Missouri each morning and travel with the crew to that day's jobsite. Work locations and projects vary. We stay busy with more than just spray foam. When we aren't spraying foam, employees may assist with other insulation, construction, maintenance, or general labor projects. We're looking for someone who wants to work, learn, and become a valuable part of our crew.
