Journeyman Electrician — Harrisburg, PA
$27–$34/hour, depending on experience
J.M. Reist Electrical is a privately owned, master-licensed merit shop electrical contractor serving central Pennsylvania since 2014. We're hiring full-time Journeyman Electricians to join our crews on commercial and industrial construction projects. Most job sites are within an hour of Harrisburg — you're home every night, with no service or on-call rotation.

What you'll do
- Install, test, and troubleshoot wiring, panelboards, switchgear, devices, and fixtures
- Bend and run conduit, and pull wire
- Read and work from blueprints and specifications
- Install fire alarm and telecommunications systems
- Diagnose faults with a meter and drive them to resolution
- Operate lifts and telehandlers, and other equipment as assigned
- Recognize and report change-order or out-of-scope work to your foreman before doing it
- Follow lockout/tagout and safe work practices — and you have full authority to stop any unsafe work
- Keep your tools and assigned vehicle in working order
What you need
- Journeyman electrician card (required)
- Completed apprenticeship or two-year trade/vocational program — IEC apprenticeship graduates preferred
- Commercial experience preferred
- Working knowledge of the 2020 NEC
- Own hand tools, cordless drill and impact (additional cordless tools a plus)
- Valid PA driver's license and clean driving record
- Pre-employment drug screen and skills assessment
