MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (9761)

Summary of Position:

To provide preventive and reparative maintenance services to a manufacturing facility.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment
• Works with line operators to perform work when it least interferes with production needs
• Identifies larger maintenance concerns and brings them to the attention of a supervisor
• Assist with Line Down diagnosis and repair
• Perform 5-S duties as assigned

Additional Responsibilities:

• Complete maintenance projects as assigned
• Assist mechanics as requested
• Perform basic repairs identified during preventative maintenance within guidelines
• Perform intermediate or advanced repairs under supervision
• Operate a forklift or other lifts within guidelines
• Material handling. May deliver/receive parts outside of the company
• Communicate with machine operators and supervisors on a regular basis
• Do not perform tasks/repairs that would impact operations or create a line down situation

Qualifications:

• Experience in performing repairs in manufacturing, plating, or heat treat environment.
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Forklift license
• High attention to detail
• Ability to create and maintain cooperative, team building relationships.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
