Job Summary
This position is responsible for the full process of heat treating and ensuring timely production.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Communicate with team member at shift change
- Set up furnace according to customer requirements
- Check setting on a regular basis and makes adjustment as needed
- Load and unload belts
- Inspect parts according to work order
- Create, maintain, and documents according operating procedures
- Enter production information into computer system
- Facilitate inspection process
- Move completed parts to next area
- Report furnace issues to maintenance
- Follow safety standards and rules
- Train new operators as needed
The employer may require an employee to perform other duties as assigned on a temporary and infrequent basis.
