SCHEDULE
2nd shift: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Monday - Friday
3rd shift: 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM, Monday - Friday
ABOUT US
J&M Plastics is a recycled plastics manufacturer in Royse City. We run injection molding machines that turn recycled plastic into new products. We have immediate openings for full-time Machine Operators on 2nd and 3rd shift.
No experience necessary. We will train you.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Work on the production floor alongside our injection molding machines
- Count finished parts accurately as they come off the machines
- Stack and bundle the correct parts together, keeping different parts separate
- Keep up with several machines at once so no machine backs up
- Keep your work area clean and organized
- Follow all safety rules and wear the required protective equipment
This is a production role. You will work around heavy machinery, but you will not repair machines or do any engineering work. Our maintenance team handles that.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Able to count accurately and pay attention to detail
- Able to keep a steady pace and stay on top of more than one machine
- Reliable and on time for your shift
- Willing to learn. We train everyone from day one
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Stand and walk for a full 8-hour shift
- Bend, reach and stack parts repeatedly throughout the shift
- Lift up to 25 lbs
- Work in a manufacturing environment with machine noise and heat
