Pharmacy Technician
J&M Drug - Edmond, OK
We are looking to hire a licensed pharmacy technician who is friendly, outgoing, personable, and reliable for a position at J&M Drug at Crest Edmond.
Requirements:
- Preferred Tech license in good standing with the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy.
- Willing to train the right candidate
- Valid driver's license
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) for effective interaction with staff, patients, and any other healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of ComputerRx and prior retail experience are a plus!
- Must be willing to be drug tested.
Job Duties:
- Assist in filling prescriptions along with any other pharmacy tasks that ensures the successful operation of the pharmacy.
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with customers.
- Handle all cash register operations including drive thru.
- Answer phone calls and assist patients.
- Sell OTC items
- Perform tasks assigned by pharmacist on duty.
Hours:
- Mon-Fri: 9:00am to 6:00pm (1 hr lunch)
- No nights
- No weekends
