J.M. Canty is a process engineering company with operations in Lockport, New York and Dublin, Ireland. The company specializes in manufacturing process lighting, sight glasses, vision-based process control systems, and particle sizing equipment for a wide range of industries, including Pharmaceutical, Cement, Oil and Gas, Chemical, Glass, and Mining industries.
Responsibilities:
· Provide technical support for Canty products.
· Conduct product demonstrations and lead training sessions for customers and sales representatives.
· Partner with the design team to develop tailored custom unit solutions.
· Prepare proposals outlining applications of Canty’s vision-based technology for specific projects.
· Support a network of sales representatives.
· Offer phone and email assistance to sales representatives.
· Generate quotations for customers and representatives.
· Travel to engage prospective clients, attend conferences and trade shows, and commission vision-based process instrumentation systems (approximately 60–80 days annually).
· Contribute to R&D initiatives for new product applications as needed
Qualifications:
Required: A degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline, such as Biomedical, Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Systems, or Physics.
Preferred: Experience in an engineering environment; familiarity with the chemical, pharmaceutical, oil and gas industries is a plus.
