We are seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined Additive Manufacturing Technician to support our in-house production and prototyping operations. This role is responsible for operating 3D printing systems, producing prototype and production parts, and assisting with additional industrial machinery as needed. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, adaptable, and committed to maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage in-house 3D printing systems, including print setup, slicing, monitoring, and routine maintenance.
- Produce prototype components for product development, testing, and internal evaluation, as well as final production parts.
- Perform post-processing of printed components, including support removal, surface finishing, and preparation for testing or evaluation.
- Ensure print quality and troubleshoot issues to maintain consistent production standards.
- Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
- Learn and operate additional industrial equipment, including programmable water jet and wire EDM systems (training provided).
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience with 3D printing (personal, academic, or professional).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt in a growing company environment.
- Lift 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree or technical certification in Engineering Technology or a related field.
