Job Description
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer is a key member of our production team, responsible for providing technical support to ensure smooth operations and efficiency. This role involves collaborating with Production, assisting customers with Design for Manufacturing (DFM), launching new products, and identifying/implementing process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Support Production with expertise in machine setups, troubleshooting, operator training, and other critical functions.
- Drive process improvements through data analysis and implementation of efficient solutions.
- Select, qualify, and launch new equipment in the factory, ensuring seamless integration.
- Collaborate with Engineering on part updates, machine layouts, and programs.
Requirements
- 7 years of mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and understand part prints.
- Proficiency in CAD software, Solidworks preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a driven attitude for continuous improvement.
