Installer – Commercial Kitchen Equipment

Position Overview

J&K Commercial Construction is seeking a driven, reliable Installer who takes pride in their work. This role involves installing custom commercial kitchens across a variety of businesses and restaurants. Installations include stainless steel wall flashing, kitchen equipment, shelving, sinks, tables, and more.

Essential Requirements

• Punctuality is critical — our team depends on everyone showing up on time, every day

• Experience working on construction job sites

• Proficient with power tools and hand tools

• Ability to lift to 75 lbs

• Ability to read and interpret drawings and elevations

• Strong communication skills

• Willingness to learn and grow within the company

• HVAC experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Complete assigned tasks efficiently (projects vary daily or every few days)

• Submitting daily reports of the jobs you worked on and what has been completed

• Manage and maintain tools and equipment to ensure job readiness

• Anticipate upcoming work and prepare proactively

• Follow all safety protocols and safe work practices

• Communicate closely with install leads and project managers

• Install a variety of equipment and accessories, including:

• Hoods

• Cabinetry

• Gas and electrical appliances

• Corner guards

• Shelving

• Multitask effectively while meeting deadlines and maintaining a positive attitude

Compensation & Benefits

• $25.00 – $42.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Schedule

• Standard hours: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• Overtime: Optional and occasionally mandatory
