Warehouse Worker Responsibilities
Job Brief
We are looking for a warehouse worker to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Performing an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load (50 lbs), pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload (50 lbs), label, store)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high
- Complete order logs when requested
- Open bales, crates and other containers
- Report any discrepancies
- Keep a clean and safe working environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations organized
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Wear the proper safety equipment
Requirements
- Proven working experience as a warehouse worker
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50 lbs.)
- Current forklift license / experience
- High school degree

Starting Salary: $14.00 to $15.00 /hour (Based on experience)
