Revenue Audit Clerk

About the Role

As a Revenue Audit Clerk, you are responsible for reviewing source documents to ensure they comply with company policies and internal control standards. You help maintain accurate financial records by verifying transactions and identifying discrepancies.

What you’ll do

Core Responsibilities

• Perform daily audits of gaming revenue across all gaming areas.
• Prepare daily operating statements and financial reports.
• Verify, reconcile, and record gaming revenue transactions.
• Prepare discrepancy reports for identified audit exceptions.
• Investigate unusual occurrences and communicate findings with appropriate management.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner that reflects positively on the company and encourages the same from others.

Access to Sensitive Assets and Areas

• Access to confidential records, controlled documents, and other sensitive areas as required to perform job responsibilities.
• Access may require appropriate authorization and adherence to established policies and procedures.

Collaborations and Partnerships

• Report directly to the Revenue Audit Supervisor and work closely with them
• Ability to effectively collaborate with the Revenue Audit Manager.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members.

Who You Are

• Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must have strong time management, organizational, and multitasking abilities with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities.
• Must have the ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience with cash reconciliation, financial reporting, and auditing processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Access, Outlook, and Excel.
• One or more of accounting, auditing, or related financial experience preferred but not necessary.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education

An associate’s degree in a related field is preferred. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Experience

Little to no prior professional experience required. Training will be provided.

Work Environment

This position works primarily indoors in a climate-controlled environment with minimal exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Noise levels and environmental changes are typically low and predictable.

 This position primarily involves sitting for extended periods while performing tasks such as computer work, phone use, and meetings. Minimal physical activity is required beyond occasional walking. May occasionally lift or move items up to 10 lbs.

Travel

This position does not require travel outside of the primary work location.
