General Summary Our Receiving Team is responsible for unloading, verifying, and stocking incoming shipments. They inspect product deliveries for accuracy and quality while ensuring warehouse inventory is properly organized. This role requires attention to detail, organization, and forklift operation skills. Receiving team members must follow FIFO procedures to properly rotate stock and ensure products are stored according to expiration dates and quality standards. We are home to three professional sports teams, amusement parks, great schools, and plenty more. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Unload incoming shipments using forklifts or pallet jacks. Verify and inspect products for accuracy, damage, and quality. Organize and stock products in designated areas. Rotate stock based on FIFO standards, ensuring older products are used before newer ones. Maintain inventory accuracy and report discrepancies. Work overtime when required. Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse experience desired. Must be able to complete the in-house forklift certification program. Physical Demands and Working Conditions: Must be able to regularly lift and move products up to 49 lbs. Able to work overtime when required. Working Conditions: Warehouse environment with exposure to extreme temperatures, machinery with moving parts, and dusty conditions. Possible exposure to chemicals, fumes, loud noise, and high places.
