GENERAL SUMMARY:
Sells beer and other beverages to assigned on/off premise accounts in order to meet Company objectives for volume and distribution. Assigned to handle any customer problems and complaints and try to troubleshoot these concerns.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
Reviews daily route sheets in order to prepare for daily on-premise sales calls.
Sells draft and other packages to Inside Sales accounts.
Quotes prices to retailers for orders ensuring pricing is appropriate.
Discusses any special deals or promotions with customers.
Turns in signs, displays and other thematic P.O.S. when necessary.
Places calls to Inside Sales accounts in order to obtain orders.
Completes order forms and enters data into computer to determine total cost for customer.
Handles customer problems or complaints.
Communicates with On-Premise Sales Manager/Director on a consistant basis to discuss sales objectives, competitive activity and resolve customer problems.
Sends POS with appropriate drivers to be delivered to Inside Sales customers.
Assists with checking to ensure daily deliveries were made.
Works overtime when required.
Opens new account and sets up scheduled line cleaning, if necessary.
Completes daily maintenance of call logs and times.

Must use own means of transportation (i.e. vehicle) to get from account to account in order to servicecustomer accounts/venues.
Must be able to regularly unload product (case of beer), which averages to 40 lbs., but can weigh up to a maximum of 49 lbs. from delivery vehicle and transport into customer accounts.
Must be able to push/pull/lift kegs on a regular basis which average 170 pounds and can weigh up to a maximum of 186 pounds; you must be physically capable of routinely performing lifting at those weight levels and transporting product into customer accounts.
Requires ability to move easily around account premises in order to inventory current stock levels and display P.O.S.
Able to rotate product in coolers and on shelves.
Able to maneuver a two-wheel dolly effectively.
Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience:
High School diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years sales or customer service experience preferred.
Valid Class D driver’s license required.
Working Conditions:
Normal office environment.
Regular exposure to extreme temperatures, outside weather conditions, including wet and/or humid conditions, and risk of electrical shock.
Occasional exposure to fumes, high places, and loud noise.
