What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at J & J Staffing Resources?
Our Client in Fairless Hills, PA is seeking a Machine Operator to join their warehouse. This position is starting at $18. This position will start out at part-time and transition to fulltime, 2:00pm-7:00pm.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Operate and program an Addison and Baileigh Machines.
- Perform setups of major complexity and must safely operate assigned machinery (machinery includes: Huth, Eagle, Vertical Sander, Bench Grinder, Tube Notcher, and Flare Machine).
- Perform changeovers, preventative maintenance, quality tests, and moderate repairs.
- Operate pallet jacks and load trucks
- Must demonstrate good housekeeping practices.
- Ability to rotate to all functional areas.
- Report existing or potential machine problems to a supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Operate warehouse machinery
- Experience operating pallet jacks and load trucks
- The ability to pass a drug test and background check upon being hired
- High School Diploma/GED/Industrial Mechanical Certification (preferred)
- Must have 3 to 5 years dedicated to warehouse/distribution environment, specific technical operations or experience in a manufacturing environment (required)
