Our client in Camden, NJ, is seeking a Contract Specialist to manage and negotiate domestic contracts. This is a 1-Year Temporary role paying $35-$40/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30AM–5:00PM
Work Environment: Hybrid role with remote work available after a 90-day training period
Responsibilities:
- Manage, prepare, and negotiate domestic low- to medium-risk contracts of varying complexity, including NDAs, event contracts, amendments, SOWs, and engagement letters
- Review contracts for completeness and accuracy
- Support senior counsel as needed
- Maintain organized records of all contracts and related documentation for easy access and retrieval
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (legal, finance, risk, IT, procurement) to ensure contract terms align with organizational capacity and business strategy
- Facilitate communication between the organization and third parties to clarify contract conditions and ensure mutual understanding
Requirements:
- Fundamental knowledge of legal documents
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail
Preferred:
- Experience with contract management systems (e.g., Ironclad)
