J&J's Tri-State Delivery Service is one of the leaders in third-party logistics servicing the kitchen cabinet industry and other home improvement product manufactures for almost 40 years with quality home delivery in the Tri-State area. We specialize in integrating operations, warehousing and transportation services.
This position is located in East Hanover, NJ. This is an entry level position. The primary responsibilities of this position are to communicate directly with customers to schedule last mile delivery and to enter incoming freight orders or update EDI orders.
Daily Activities Include:
- Manage incoming phone calls
- Enter/Update/Schedule customer orders timely and accurately
- Communicate effectively with customer by phone or e-mail
- Field phone calls involving merchandise (receive date, schedule, problems, concerns)
- Manage inbox inquiries with accounts and customers
- Data entry (Candidate will be trained in our Alpha system and other systems remotely accessed by major customers.)
- Refer unresolved customer issues to a designated CSM for further follow up.
Skills Needed:
- Computer literacy and typing speed
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
- A quick learner
- Strong communication - especially phone contact skills and active listening
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Attention to detail
- Dependability
- Has a pleasant, patient, and friendly attitude. Sense of humor is a plus!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.75 - $17.75 per hour
