Cooler Stock Associate – Evening Shifts (5:00 PM – 11:00 PM) J&J Package Store | Springfield, MA |
Overview We're looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join our evening team. This role is the backbone of our nightly operations — keeping our cooler stocked, our store clean, and our inventory organized so we're ready for the next day and constantly stocked throughout the night
Responsibilities
Stocking & Inventory
- Stock all refrigerated inventory nightly, including beer, wine, and other cold beverages
- Maintain a well-organized cooler that is clear and accessible for inventory counts
- Build and maintain an ample supply of 6-packs for all applicable beers
- Assist with pulling DoorDash orders on high-volume nights
Organization & Maintenance
- Keep the back stockroom/merchandise area organized on a weekly basis
- Perform weekly cleaning and dusting of bottles throughout the store
- Complete regular upkeep and general maintenance tasks as needed
- Assist with additional store needs as directed by management, which may include stocking dry goods, helping customers, or other tasks that support daily operations
Cleaning
- Sweep and mop the store floor every shift
- Clean the parking lot nightly
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, including carrying cases up stairs
- Comfortable handling multiple cases at a time
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Must be 21 per Massachusetts liquor store regulations
Pay: $15.00 per hour
