Job Description:
J.J. Kennedy, Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Fombell, PA. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of equipment including ready-mix concrete trucks, high lifts, cement tankers, and other heavy machinery.

Responsibilities:
Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, brakes, and electrical systems
Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections on fleet vehicles and equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently and accurately
Maintain detailed service and repair records
Adhere to company and safety standards at all times
Communicate with supervisors and drivers to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technician preferred
Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
Ability to read and interpret service manuals and schematics
Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Valid driver’s license required (CDL a plus)
Schedule & Pay:
Daylight hours, Monday–Friday
Overtime available
