Carpenter / Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter / Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be actively involved in a variety of carpentry and general labor tasks that contribute to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and restoration projects. Responsibilities

• Assist with framing, trim carpentry, siding, roofing, and drywall installation using hand tools and power tools
• Read blueprints, schematics, and detailed plans to accurately execute project specifications
• Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and plastering as needed for various projects
• Fabricate and install fixtures, cabinets, doors, windows, and other custom woodwork or metal components
• Conduct heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely while maintaining proper technique
• Prepare construction sites by cleaning debris, setting up scaffolding or ladders, and ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Support restoration efforts including water damage remediation, mold removal, stucco application, and general repairs
• Assist with plumbing, electrical work, flooring installation, tile laying, and fixture hanging under supervision
• Operate CNC machinery or fabrication tools when required for custom projects
• Follow schematics and technical drawings accurately to ensure quality workmanship on every task

Qualifications

• Prior experience in construction site environments or related fields such as manufacturing or remodeling is preferred but not required
• Proficiency with hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws) is essential
• Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, metal stud framing, drywall finishing, caulking, and roofing techniques is highly desirable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces when necessary
• Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
• Experience with schematics for electrical or plumbing systems is a plus
• A valid driver’s license may be required for travel between job sites
