Delivery Driver

J & I Power Equipment in Yelm, WA has an opportunity for an experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. J & I has been providing Thurston County, and surrounding areas, with unmatched products and service since 1974.We are a family owned business and our mission is to provide quality equipment, at a fair price, to all of our customers.

General Requirements:

• Must be a team player, and easily adjust to change
• Be reliable, punctual, self-motivated, and have a clean driving record
• A CDL is not required, however preferred
• Experience in handling/hauling power equipment is preferred
• Must be willing to work a normal 40 hours per week and longer hours as required to meet customer demands
• Able to Lift and handle heavy loads up to 70 lbs. plus work outdoors and indoors in all weather conditions

Responsibilities:

• Always provide exceptional customer service and be a positive representative for J&I
• Make deliveries to customers while adhering to all safety procedures
• Load inventory on truck and unload at customer site.
• Transport inventory between Olympia & Yelm location
• Must be willing to complete other tasks/duties as requested
• Complete all necessary paperwork in accordance with company policies and procedure
• Go over operations of new and used equipment
