Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, bed making, and bathroom sanitation using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with proper care.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and ensuring sanitation standards are met.
• Safely handle chemical agents used for cleaning and sanitation by following safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and using personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, buffers, and steam cleaners to ensure optimal floor care across all areas.
• Assist with janitorial tasks related to industrial cleaning and custodial responsibilities to uphold high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Follow hotel housekeeping management procedures and emergency protocols to ensure guest safety and operational efficiency at all times.

Experience

• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly desirable; familiarity with hotel emergency procedures is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability in floor cleaning techniques including the use of various cleaning equipment for industrial or janitorial purposes.
• Knowledge of chemical handling practices to ensure safe use of cleaning agents while maintaining sanitation standards.
• Experience in hospitality environments that require heavy lifting, manual handling, and attention to detail in sanitation practices.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management systems or similar organizational tools is advantageous.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
