Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC/R Service Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional service in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC/R systems using schematics, electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters, and mechanical knowledge to identify issues accurately.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems.
- Install new HVAC/R equipment following detailed schematics and HVAC design specifications to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct system inspections, preventative maintenance, and equipment upgrades to maximize efficiency and lifespan of mechanical systems.
- Utilize hand tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools to perform complex repairs on HVAC/R components.
- Collaborate with clients to provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document all work performed for compliance and quality assurance purposes.
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC/R service technician or mechanic with a strong background in system repair, installation, and maintenance.
- Construction experience or property maintenance background is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical systems diagnostics, plumbing, refrigeration processes including ammonia refrigeration is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters or multimeters.
- Knowledge of building automation systems (BAS), electrical diagnostics, boiler operation, appliance repair, welding skills, and mechanical systems repair is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) or special certifications such as EPA certification are a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction at every interaction.

Pay: $30.16 - $36.33 per hour
