Job Overview
Fulltime position, with service truck, or it can be provided.
Field mechanic. Responsible for diagnostics, minor repairs for our trucks and tanker trailers at various sites. Maintain equipment records and keep our fleet running smoothly, ensuring safety, efficiency, and minimize downtime. Pay for this position is to be determined, depending on what experience, tools, equipment and vehicle. Preferred with Class a CDL with tanker and HM endorsements.
Duties.
- Driving to various sites across our service area (SC NC TN GA) to inspect truck and trailers, conduct repairs as needed and arrange for major repairs to be performed at major shops.
- Maintain equipment repair records; report work status to Maintenance Manager.
- Ideal Candidate will have:
- Strong diagnostic ability
- Proven experience in mechanical and electrical repair of diesel trucks & trailers
- Experience with fuel tankers a plus
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Reliability: show up on time, every time
- Excellent time management
- Self-motivated
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients
- Physical ability for heavy lifting, climbing on vehicles or equipment, and working in various outdoor conditions.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
