Lead Systems Engineer / Machine Designer

Job Description:
Systems Engineer/ Machine Designer, 3 years Design Experience. Must be able to perform material handling system design. This includes deciding type of conveyance / custom equipment required to complete system design. Candidate must also be able to do Custom Material Handling Equipment Design.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Layout
- Design and Model Parts
- Spec Purchased Parts
- Create Shop Drawings
- Order Parts
- See Fabrication and Assembly of components through the shop
- Support Customer Runoffs in Hackett, AR Facility
- Lead and Mentor Junior Engineers and Draftsmen
- Report Project Status Weekly to Supervisor
Required Skills:
- 4 Year Degree in an Engineering Field
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, multi-disciplinary environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Team Leader
- Proficient in two-dimensional drafting software such as AutoCAD.
- Proficient in three-dimensional modeling software such as SolidWorks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excel, Word, Power point, and Project
