Role Description
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Pizza Maker/Counter Person to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Prepare and assemble pizzas according to company recipes and customer specifications
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients according to established recipes and standards
- Cook pizzas with precision to ensure optimal taste and presentation
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems like Shift4
- Handle cashiering duties including cash handling and processing payments
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and upselling menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining area, and workstations in compliance with health standards
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and managing food safety protocols
- Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining quality standards
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient service
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or retail environments such as grocery stores or cafes
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to upsell menu items effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and sales transactions
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced restaurant or quick service setting
- Experience with cashiering, serving, bussing tables, and general restaurant operations is preferred
- Capable of multitasking while maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment
