Job Title: Electrical Mechanical Field Technician
Location: Based in Hunker, PA , with travel to client sites across PA, OH, VA, WV, MD, and DE
Job Type: Full-Time
Travel Required: Yes – up to 50% (domestic)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Mechanical Field Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems at various client locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a willingness to travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment and systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults in field-installed systems and components.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure successful deployments.
- Document service activities, including maintenance logs and repair reports.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on-site.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred but not required.
- 2 years of experience in a field technician role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently.
- Clean background check for ability to access school and military sites.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs. and work in various environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with PLCs, motors, sensors, and industrial automation.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software.
- OSHA or other safety certifications.
- Experience working in manufacturing, energy, or industrial sectors.
