Are you looking for an Construction Technology role? We are adding to our Project Controls Team.
We are searching for an Operations Construction Technologist that partners with with project teams, field leaders, Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), Scheduling, and Information Technology (IT), bridging the gap between construction methodology and modern technology to solve problems and drive improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Research, test, and implement apps and tools to enhance project delivery
- Collaborate with leadership to drive innovation across the operational groups
- Manage integration of construction technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy for project teams.
- Train staff, subcontractors, vendors, and clients through in-person and virtual sessions
- Analyze and report on the operational data, generating insights and KPIs that guide decision-making.
- Review, prioritize, and address enhancement requests from end users.
- Partner with software vendors to resolve issues and explore improvements.
- Evaluate user feedback and assess workflow impacts before implementing changes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- 5-10 years of experience in construction technology, project controls, VDC, or enterprise software administration.
- Familiarity with construction processes and workflows.
- Technical proficiency in Autodesk Build, BIM authoring tools, scheduling software, and Power BI.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
- Capacity to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
- Skilled communicator capable of training diverse technical solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
