What are the responsibilities and job description for the Consultant Dietitian position at J. Evans Nutrition Consulting, LLC?
J. Evans Nutrition Consulting, LLC is looking for a dietitian to join our team! We are looking for a dietitian available 1-3 days/week in the Quad Cities area. The hours are flexible! Some travel may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Familiarity with state survey process and compliance to nutrition care regulations
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to residents and families
- Coordinate nutrition care through nutritional evaluations
- Experience with MDS 3.0
- Perform monthly sanitation and dining room audits
- Provide assistance as needed and collaborating with dietary manager and other nursing home staff
- Making nutritional recommendations related to weight loss and pressure injuries
- Completing nutritional assessment within the electronic medical records
- Sending consultation reports weekly to nursing home staff
Requirements:
- Registered Dietitian
- Licensed Dietitian in Iowa
- Team player
- Good communication skills

- Problem solving skills
- Experience in long term care (preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour
