Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Licensed Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems across various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that water and waste systems operate efficiently and meet all safety and building code standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new construction to remodeling, utilizing your technical skills and mechanical knowledge to deliver top-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and service plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects using hand tools (Provided by employee) , power tools (Provided by employer), and specialized equipment such as plumbing inspection cameras and schematics.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to accurately execute plumbing layouts and system designs.
- Take on service calls to identify issues, ensure compliance with local building codes, and perform necessary repairs or replacements. (Not required but a big plus)
- Operate construction tools and ladders safely and effectively during installation or repair processes.
- Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate work on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required for installation or repair tasks in a variety of environments.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including schematics updates, and maintenance logs.
Qualifications
- Valid license as a journeyman plumber with proven experience in construction plumbing.
- Valid Drivers License
- Extensive construction site experience with a strong understanding of local building codes and regulations.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines
- Experience with remodeling projects, service work and gas boilers is a big plus!
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or confined spaces safely
- Strong communication skills for interpreting technical instructions and collaborating with team members.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
