Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious ISO Climber/Bucket Truck Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating aerial lift equipment, including bucket trucks, to perform essential tasks related to tree care, tree removal, and landscape projects. Responsibilities
- Safely operate bucket trucks and aerial lifts to access elevated work areas for maintenance, installation, or repair tasks.
- Perform climbing duties on trees with proper safety gear and techniques, including ISO climbing standards.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and skid steer to complete assigned tasks.
- Assist with landscape maintenance activities including mowing, pruning, tree trimming, and tree removals
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work sites to identify hazards or maintenance needs; perform minor repairs as needed.
Experience
- Prior experience operating bucket trucks or aerial lifts in a construction, landscaping, or utility environment is highly preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, hand tools, skid steer, and other landscaping or construction equipment is essential.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices such as mowing, lawn care, tree trimming, and tree removal.
- Knowledge of safety procedures for working at heights and in outdoor environments; certification in OSHA standards is a plus.
- Experience with horticulture or arboriculture practices including tree care and pruning techniques is advantageous.
