Description: J.D. Streett & Company, Inc. is seeking a full-time Marketing & Social Media Manager to lead our marketing efforts. The position will manage our social media presence, lead the project for redesigning our corporate website, manage our retail loyalty program, oversee all external and internal advertising efforts at our retail locations, revamp our trade show booth and marketing materials, and handle all other marketing initiatives.
Primary Functions and Areas of Responsibility:
- Social Media Management: Oversee and manage all social media platforms to enhance brand presence and engagement.
- Website Redesign: Lead the project for redesigning the corporate website to improve user experience and functionality.
- Retail Loyalty Program: Manage and optimize the retail loyalty program to increase customer retention and satisfaction.
- Advertising Efforts: Oversee all external and internal advertising efforts at our retail locations to ensure consistent and effective messaging.
- Trade Show and Marketing Materials: Revamp the trade show booth and marketing materials to better represent our brand and attract potential customers.
- General Marketing Efforts: Handle all other marketing initiatives to promote the company's products and services.
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Mastery of Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop or equivalent software
- Creative and strategic thinking with a strong understanding of marketing principles
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Deep understanding of various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) and their unique characteristics
- Strong writing skills, including the ability to craft engaging and effective social media copy and content (text, images, videos)
- Ability to analyze social media metrics and data to track performance, identify trends, and optimize campaigns
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in the marketing and/or social media field
- Proven track record of successful marketing campaigns and initiatives
