What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver (FedEx Ground) position at J.D.S Trucking, LLC?
We’re JACS Trucking, a FedEx contractor, looking for dependable drivers who can handle packages up to 50 lbs on their own and up to 150 lbs with a dolly. If you’re reliable, hard-working, and ready to move, we want you on our team.
Terminal: 3333 Ocean Blvd. SE, Coos Bay, OR 97420
Position Responsibilities
- Arrive at the FedEx terminal on time to pick up your vehicle and packages
- Perform required pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and confidently
- Load, unload, and maneuver packages of all sizes without causing damage
- Use GPS and routing tools to ensure accurate deliveries
- Scan and log all packages accurately
- Work 7–10 hours per day, dependent on route completion

Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Previous delivery driving experience preferred
- Solid understanding of traffic laws and safety procedures
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and multitask effectively
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and use a dolly to move up to 150 lbs
No CDL required! A company vehicle is provided. Candidates with prior delivery experience are highly encouraged to apply. Military veterans are welcome!
