Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate HVAC installation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to schematics and design plans.
- Supervise and mentor a team of HVAC technicians, providing guidance on installation techniques, safety protocols, and troubleshooting methods.
- Interpret technical schematics, and understand installation manuals.
- Ability to determine the best installation approach, considering electrical wiring, venting and mechanical requirements.
- Ensure all installations comply with local codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including service reports, and startup procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction, HVAC installation, or service technician roles with a focus on mechanical systems.
- Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with schematics interpretation, HVAC installation principles.
- Mechanical aptitude combined with the ability to read technical drawings accurately.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively for electrical troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to HVAC/R work environments including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
