Job Overview
Within our facility there are multiple refrigerated coolers, freezers, and a dry storage area. The employee in this position is responsible for pulling orders and loading trucks.
Responsibilities and Duties

Locate customer order items in the warehouse and pick those items from stock to accurately fill customer orders.

Check items picked for accuracy and quality, ensuring correct manufacturer, size, color, style, quantities and defects.

Assure accuracy of picked orders.

Perform freight handling using appropriate motorized and manual equipment (when certified).

Maintain a safe work environment, perform job functions in a safe manner, and follow good housekeeping practices.
Physical Requirements/Environment:

Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials

Requires prolonged standing during work hours

Requires stooping, kneeling, bending and reaching

Requires prolonged sitting or standing.

Must be able to work in noisy and crowded environment

Must be able to work in and around fumes and odors

Must be able to work in lower temperature environment (35°-45° F)
Qualifications

High School diploma or GED equivalent

Pass pre-employment physical and drug test

Basic Math, Computer and Analytical skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the capability to adjust to change and interruptions.
