We're looking for a reliable Class C Driver with experience operating a 26ft reefer box truck. This is a 1099 position offering consistent work with a dedicated lane from SoCal to Sacramento, along with local runs throughout Southern California.
Position Details:
- Truck Type: 26ft Reefer Box Truck
- License Required: Class C (Clean driving record required)
- Start Location: Fontana, CA (Company yard)
- Routes: Dedicated lane to Sacramento local SoCal deliveries
- Pay: $0.50 per mile
- Compensation: Paid for layovers, delays at pick-ups/drop-offs, and additional work as needed
- Schedule: Mix of local day runs and longer dedicated trips
- Home Time: Regular home time (most weekends)
- Position Type: 1099 Contractor
Requirements:
- Valid Class C driver's license
- Clean driving record (no major violations)
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to handle reefer unit and basic load securement
- Must be comfortable with occasional overnight trips for the Sacramento lane
