Overview
J&D Equipment Hauling is looking to grow our multi-axle team of amazing Heavy Haul Drivers. Heavy Haul Drivers are responsible for the safe transportation of our customer’s loads such as construction and manufacturing equipment, cranes, mining, as well as bridge beams and crane girders with a dolly. We prefer for our drivers to live within a 100-mile radius of our yard in Lebanon, TN.

- OTR drivers are not required to be gone more than two weeks at a time
Duties
- Operate a variety of truck and trailers including flatbeds, step-decks, and lowboys.
- Execute route driving to deliver freight to designated locations safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Maintain compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety standards are met.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and cargo details.
Experience
- Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles effectively.
- Ability to operate machinery for loading and unloading purposes is a plus.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Multi-axle experience.
- Basic knowledge of shimming RGN trailer.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
