As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall project management, including ensuring profitability and successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant (WTP/WWTP) projects.Responsibilities and DutiesReview plans and request quotes from subcontractors and vendors to prepare project bidsSelect and negotiate with subcontractors and vendors/suppliers to complete projects within specific budgetsDefine project goals and elements required for successful completionDevelop a construction strategy/planFollow a timeline and perform effectively within tight time scalesRespond to delays and problems, making necessary changes to keep the project on trackPrioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlinesEnsure project stays within budgetImplement efficient approaches to achieve desired results with available resourcesProvide explanations and guidance to builders and other professionals involved in the projectCoordinate and collaborate with engineers, architects, specialists, inspectors, and job superintendentsEnsure compliance with building codes and other legal or regulatory requirementsMonitor and oversee project scopeConduct meetings with clients, engineers, architects, specialists, inspectors, superintendents, vendors, and construction personnelReport project status and provide updatesDeliver project goals without unnecessary delaysMaintain positive client relationshipsPrepare and submit pay applicationsReview and approve vendor invoicesConduct project site visitsAssist in bid running activitiesQualifications and SkillsExperience in managing large projects in the water/wastewater industry under a self-performing contractorWillingness to travel as neededExperience in water/wastewater project management is a plusBenefits and PerksMedical, Dental, and Vision insurance401(k) plan with matching contributionsLife/AD&D InsuranceShort and Long-Term Disability coverageAccident and Critical Illness coverageCompany-paid holidays and vacationJ.
