Position Summary
The Network Administrator will be responsible for the daily management, maintenance, and optimization of our network infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring our systems remain secure, high-performing, and resilient. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in troubleshooting complex issues, and driven by operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
Monitor network performance, conduct diagnostics, and proactively resolve issues
Maintain network security through firewall configurations, access controls, and threat prevention measures
Perform regular system backups and support disaster recovery planning and implementation
Manage infrastructure updates, network permissions, domains, and changes
Collaborate cross-functionally with IT teams to support project initiatives and organizational goals
Document network configurations, procedures, incidents, and upgrades
Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry best practices
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Administrator or similar IT infrastructure role
Strong expertise in LAN/WAN networks, firewalls, VPNs, and network security protocols
Proficient in diagnosing and resolving network performance issues
Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux server environments
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud networking (AWS, Azure) is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration and documentation
Must be located within the United States
Must have no criminal history or negative credit issues (background check required)
Compensation & Benefits
Annual Salary: $87,000 – $92,000 (commensurate with experience)
