Our company is currently seeking a dependable and motivated Fleet Maintenance Service Assistant to support daily operations within the fleet department. This role involves transporting materials, tools, and equipment between job sites and main office, ensuring that construction projects run smoothly and efficiently, keeping the shop clean and organized. - Work in an automotive service garage and outdoors at various job sites.
- Physical tasks include lifting to 50 pounds, walking, and standing for extended periods.
- Be adaptable and able to handle the physical demands of the job while ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Transport materials, tools, and equipment between job sites, suppliers, and the main office to support ongoing construction projects.
- Help manage inventory, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available and organized.
- Assist with basic site tasks as needed, including cleaning.
- Transport vehicles to and from service locations as needed.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and moving quickly on job sites.
- Initiative, stamina, and attention to detail are critical for job performance.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with the team members and managers.
