The Role: Lead Fence Installer
We’re hiring a Fence Installer to work on a small crew completing jobs in the field. This role is for someone who is a hard worker who communicates well with team members, and can learn to install fences the right way, keeping high standards for quality and safety.
You’ll work on-site, with an experienced Lead Fence Installer.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead daily fence installations from start to finish (layout, demo if needed, post setting, install, cleanup)
- Install a variety of fence types including wood, vinyl, aluminum, and chain link
- Operate tools/equipment (augers, skid steer, tampers, saws, concrete mixing, etc.)
- Maintain jobsite safety and quality standards
- Learn from an experienced Lead Installers.
- Keep a clean, professional jobsite and represent J.C. Fence well.
What We’re Looking For: Required
- Proven fence installation experience
- Strong knowledge of fence layout, post setting, and installation best practices
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (CDL a plus, not required)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to troubleshoot in the field and make smart decisions
Bonus (Not Required)
- Fence installation experience
- Experience with all four fence categories (wood, vinyl, aluminum, chain link)
- Equipment operating experience (skid steer, mini ex, dingo, etc.)

Physical Requirements
