Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and ventilation equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal operation and energy efficiency.
- Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including pipe fitting and refrigerant line servicing.
- Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to test electrical components and mechanical parts for faults.
- Repair or replace mechanical components such as motors, fans, compressors, valves, and welders as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, system performance reports, and repair logs for accountability and future reference.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC systems installation and maintenance.
- Mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems including ammonia refrigeration is highly desirable.
- Ability to read schematics and interpret HVAC design plans accurately.
- Experience with plumbing, refrigeration techniques, appliance repair, boiler operation, welding skills, and property maintenance is preferred.
- Familiarity with field service operations in construction or property management environments.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with equipment repair involving electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems including boilers and ammonia refrigeration units will set you apart.

Pay: From $33.00 per hour
