Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly experienced Licensed Journeyman Plumber with 10 years in the field to join our team as a Plumbing Advisor. This is a part-time, advisory-focused role where you will provide guidance and expertise on plumbing projects.
This position is not a field role. You will not be required to perform physical plumbing work. Instead, you will act as a consultant, helping guide decisions, support technicians, and ensure quality standards.
This role is ideal for a retired or semi-retired professional who is not currently working full-time and wants to stay involved in the industry in a flexible capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on plumbing projects, including installation, maintenance, and repair approaches
- Guide technicians on best practices for working within residential plumbing systems
- Assist with troubleshooting and diagnosing plumbing issues remotely or in a limited on-site advisory capacity
- Advise on water heaters, sump pumps, ejector systems, and general residential plumbing setups
- Ensure proper practices for DWV and sanitary systems
- Serve as a mentor and technical resource for the team
- 10 years of plumbing experience
- Must be a Licensed Journeyman Plumber
- Retired or semi-retired (not currently working full-time)
- Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to clearly communicate and guide others
- Experience mentoring or training others is a plus
- Trade school or apprenticeship completion preferred
