Role Overview
We are seeking hard-working and reliable individuals to join our Sewer Installation Team as Excavation Helpers. This is an entry-level role with hands-on training provided. You’ll assist experienced technicians with digging, trenching, and preparing job sites for sewer and water line installations and repairs. If you’re looking for a career path in plumbing and excavation, this is a great opportunity to start.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with digging, trenching, and backfilling for sewer and water line projects
- Help prepare, load, and stage tools, materials, and equipment for jobs
- Support installation and repair of water and sewer lines, laterals, and cleanouts
- Assist in locating and addressing leaks or damaged piping
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite at all times
- Follow instructions from crew leaders and work as part of a team
- Operate basic hand tools and assist with light equipment use under supervision
- Prior excavation experience required
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to lift, dig, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift 100 Pounds
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Must be physically fit and able to work in trenches or confined spaces
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
