We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, with expertise in electrical systems, hydraulics, and mechanical knowledge. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, providing excellent customer service while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, including high voltage and low voltage systems, using tools such as an ohmmeter.
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with team members to analyze equipment failures and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain hydraulic systems, ensuring proper functionality and safety standards are met.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management.
- Document all maintenance activities accurately for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Rotating Schedules.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Person or similar role in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems, hydraulics, and general maintenance practices.
- Ability to analyze problems effectively and militarize solutions in a timely manner.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety protocols.
