Job Title: Full-Time Landscaper
Location: JB Martin Company
Leesville, SC
Reports To: Maintenance Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Full-Time Landscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and experience in landscape maintenance, installation, and outdoor beautification. This position involves physical labor and requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. This will also require working in plant maintenance area to break down machines and other projects when not able to be outside due to weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform general landscape maintenance duties such as mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, and weeding.
• Operate landscaping equipment including tractor, mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas; remove debris, litter, and leaves from grounds.
• Follow landscaping plans, drawings, and verbal instructions from supervisors.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Comply with all safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous landscaping or groundskeeping experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet for long periods.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
Schedule:
• Monday through Friday - First shift
