What are the responsibilities and job description for the Box Truck Owner Operator position at J.B. Hunt?
** This opportunity is for established independent contractors with an active DOT & MC authority only. **
J.B. Hunt is expanding our Final Mile Services home delivery carrier force. We are looking for carriers that are interested in contracting with us to deliver and assemble furniture and install appliances in customer homes.
- $750 average daily rate*
- Monday-Saturday
- Average delivery radius - within 150 miles
- 7-day payment terms
- Established customer base with consistent routes
- Access to third-party discounts for truck rental, fuel and tools
- Access to nationwide accounts
Carrier Requirements Include:
- Active US DOT & MC numbers
- Previous home delivery (white glove) experience
- Previous appliance delivery, furniture delivery and installation experience
- 26’ box truck (truck equipped with liftgate is a plus)
