Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of complex transportation, network, and operational solutions that drive significant business value
- Serve as a subject matter expert in transportation network design and solution development, guiding stakeholders through complex operational and customer challenges
- Solve highly complex and ambiguous business problems using advanced analytics, modeling, optimization, and simulation techniques
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, stakeholders, and leadership by translating business needs into practical and innovative solutions
- Lead large-scale projects and initiatives from concept through implementation, coordinating across multiple functions and stakeholders
- Influence decision-making through clear communication of insights, recommendations, risks, and tradeoffs to technical and executive audiences
- Develop and enhance analytical tools, performance metrics, and reporting frameworks that drive strategic decision-making
- Apply advanced industrial engineering and operations research methodologies, including network design, routing, scheduling, optimization, and scenario modeling
- Quantify, communicate, and present project outcomes, including financial impact, service improvements, and operational efficiencies
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers, contributing to the development of engineering best practices and team capabilities
- Evaluate emerging business needs, technologies, and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Management, or related field, or foreign equivalent, or suitable combination of education, experience, and training with 5 years of experience in Industrial Engineering or related field
- AND Demonstration of the following
- Experience in data visualization software, statistics, operations research, linear programming, forecasting, predictive modeling, relational databases, and/or SQL
