Description
We are seeking a skilled an experienced Heavy Haul Driver to transport heavy loads and oversized equipment to various locations throughout the United States. The candidate will have 3-5 years of experience, be able to safely operate a heavy haul truck; assist in setting up the trailer and loading/unloading.
Responsibilities:
- Transport oversized equipment and heavy loads to various locations
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to minimize accidents and injuries
- Inspect equipment and loads to ensure that they are secure and properly loaded
- Communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain and repair equipment as necessary
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A Commercial driver's license with doubles and triples endorsement
- 3-5 years of Proven experience operating a heavy haul truck and transporting oversized equipment and loads
- Excellent understanding of safety procedures and guidelines for operating a heavy haul truck
- Ability to operate a heavy haul transport system in a safe and efficient manner
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects if required
- Ability to work flexible hours if required
