About the Position
We are seeking a passionate and responsible Onsite Instructor to teach Essay Writing, Literature, and Philosophy to students in our local community.
The ideal candidate genuinely cares about students' academic growth and enjoys helping young learners develop their ability to read critically, think deeply, and express their ideas clearly.
Responsibilities
- Teach onsite classes in Essay Writing, Literature, and Philosophy
- Guide students in developing strong writing and critical-thinking skills
- Provide constructive feedback on student writing and assignments
- Create a positive, respectful, and productive classroom environment
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, and staff
- Maintain consistent attendance, punctuality, and professionalism
Qualifications
- Strong academic background in English, Literature, Writing, Philosophy, Education, or a related field
- Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Previous teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience preferred
- Experience working with children or teenagers is a plus
- Ability to engage students in thoughtful discussion and meaningful learning
- Responsible, dependable, and genuinely committed to student education
- A passion for helping students grow as writers, readers, and critical thinkers
